At Yellowwood Cottage

At Yellowwood cottage is a spacious 4 bedroom cottage within walking distance of the beautiful Kleinmond beach. The house has 2 lounges / living rooms with Television and DSTV in the main lounge, 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - 2 being en-suite, large dining area with a reading area at the far end .
There is a secluded rear garden with Braai / BBQ area - perfect to chill and unwind.
There is garaging for 3 cars.

Kleinmond is a small coastal town in the Overberg region of the Western Cape province, South Africa. It is situated inside a UNESCO-declared Biosphere about 90 km east of Cape Town between Betty’s Bay and Hermanus.

Hire a canoe and venture up the estuary and you could see South Africa’s last wild horses roaming the wetland.
Or spot the Southern Right Whales - during the whale season, which is between June to December, the Whale Coast, presents us with mating, breeding and calving whales. Scores of dolphin can also be seen swimming up and down the coast – a real treat.
Avid Golfers will find a few of South Africa’s top ranking Golf courses - which happen to be
in the area!
Walking – there are the stunning Overberg mountains covered with beautiful indigenous fynbos and Protea typical of the Cape. There are fantastic day walks from the cottage and surrounding area with the Palmiet River trail being a 4 hour walk meandering along the scenic Palmiet River. A more sedate walk is from the beachfront along the amazing boardwalk which stretches all the way to the Harbour - a fantastic afternoon stroll and perfect for sundowners.

The nearby Kleinmond Harbour boasts excellent Restaurants, Pubs and Coffee shops as well as a whole street of art galleries, book shops and other interesting Interior marts.
Hermanus is a mere 20minutes drive if you aren't tempted to pop into the Arabella Spa along the way for a pamper treat... or the scenic wine route, where over 15 wine farms and their experiences await you like cycling through the vineyards, trout fishing, or blending your own wine!

For the thrill seekers there is River rafting - an adventure through the Fynbos covered mountains of the nearby Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
