We are situated halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, easily accessible from the N3 and M13 highways. In close proximity are The Valley of 1000 Hills, Hillcrest, Shongweni, Summerveld, Pinetown, Hammarsdale and Cato Ridge. The modern Hillcrest Private Hospital 1km away. We are 20 minutes from Durban’s beaches and 30 minutes from King Shaka Airport.

Our facilities accommodate up to 12 guests. Accommodation is self-catering, however breakfast, lunch and supper, including our legendary 3-course Sunday Carvery, is always on offer. We are equally suitable for a relaxing family getaway or for the discerning business/sports person visiting the area.

Set in four acres of gardens with horses, fish pond and birds and outstanding views over the Assagay Valley, your friendly hosts, Maudelene and Mark, invite you to a spacious and comfortable home away from home. The property is fully fenced with electric gate and safe covered parking.

Hillcrest nearby offers a variety of modern shopping and entertainment centres, the Heritage Market and Supper Theatre, or drive through Botha’s Hill with its pubs, a cultural Zulu Village with crocodile farm and game park, the famous Comrades route and stunning views of the 1000 Hills Valley. For the equestrian sports enthusiasts we are 2 minutes from the Shongweni Polo/Show sportsgrounds. Go further to Shongweni dam for fishing and boating or enjoy a round of golf at one of the many great golf courses close by.
