Antarctic Legacy of South Africa

The Antarctic Legacy of South Africa (ALSA) is an NRF-funded project that forms part of the South African National Antarctic Programme (SANAP). The ALSA Page will serve to repost news stories added to ALSA's website (www.antarcticlegacy.org) and for other announcements of general interest.

The Friends of ALSA Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/409942979164222/) will regularly carry photographs and other items of interest relating to the history of South Africa's involvement "down South" from the heroic age of Antarctic exploration (and before) right up to the present day. Members are encouraged to post their own stories and photographs and comment on postings by others.
