Annette's passion for art and travel developed during her childhood when her father's career in agriculture led them to moving around South Africa. While accompanying her father on farm visits, Annette absorbed images of sunrises, sunsets, rolling hills and majestic mountains. Also the colours of nature and the ever-changing mood of the landscape.
After matriculating at Pietermaritzburg Girls' High, Annette went on to complete a diploma in Art and later attended The Prouse School of Arts in Cape Town to study oils.
Her passion for art has never wavered and she attends courses and workshops whenever her busy schedule allows.
She has had numerous solo and joint exhibitions in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Windhoek. She is represented in galleries throughout South Africa and her work can be found as far afield as Europe, Britain, Australia, USA and the East.
