Lost through the mist, sitting on the edge of a massive rock as you can nearly touch the clouds which surrounds you, overlooking the earth's end and a near glance of heaven, this is the tip of the crater, the breathtaking view which forms the heart of this beautiful town with it's wild horses running playfully amidst the streets.

A mid afternoon ...calming walk brings you to all the smells of everyone's finest creations, from pancakes to the unnamed. In the distance you can see the tips of hundreds... thousands of Pine trees from Komatiland, nestling you in the treasure called Kaapschehoop with the worlds oldest stone henge.

Just entering the gates of this tiny 200 housed town, in the first few steps, you find yourself on the doorstep of modern living called Angels Mist. Our views opening it's arms to the clear sky overhead at night with millions of stars and a scenic view over the landscapes as you have lunch by day on the rooftop diner.. a true break away from the city life like you've never seen before...

Kaapschehoop is 1486m above sea level with about 200 free roaming feral horses. A true fairytale town. Other nearby tourist include Adam's Calendar, edge sighting over the Barberton crater, Komati land Pine forests and a breathtaking waterfall in and around the surroundings of Kaapschehoop.

We cater rooms of 1 - 4 people per room, each with on-suite bathrooms. Dining and bar refreshments/facilities are available on the premises.
