American Corner Cape Town

American Corner, Cape Town brings the hippest speakers from the United States to South Africa – from rappers, to poets, coders and astronauts.

The corner is filled with state-of-the-art digital tools like iPads, Chromebooks, MacBooks, digital cameras, video production equipment, and a full range of creative software. The space also features high-speed Wi-Fi, a professional sound recording studio, a digital classroom, green screen technology, and a coffee bar. The featured attraction will be the Makerspace, a 21st century, hands-on incubation lab where the public can design, create, and imagine new products, whether they are films, podcasts, graphic products, or new technology.
