Alliance Française de Maseru

The Alliance Française was established in Paris in 1883 by eminent figures of the arts, the sciences, and politics to ensure the influence of the French language and culture around the world.

The Alliance Française in Maseru was created in 1981 and is the language and cultural centre of Lesotho. It cooperates with the national University of Lesotho, the Ministry of Education and several local artists.

Our teachers are French, Francophone and Basotho. We run courses for children of 6 yo, up to adults! We also promote both local and international artists through concerts,exhibitions and many more events...
