At African Wild Side we’re all about Surfing!!

Surfing means different things to different people. For some its about the thrill of testing yourself against the ocean, for others its the adventure of searching for new spots and unexplored beaches, while for others its just about hanging out with your mates on the weekend. For us it’s about all of these things. We love to surf!! It’s our passion! It’s in our blood and it’s what keeps us going.

If there’s one thing we love as much as surfing though, its Africa! To many, Africa is the deep, Dark Continent, but to us its home and there is no place like it in the world! Nowhere else can you feel so free. Vast landscapes, abundant wildlife, diverse cultures, all under the watchful gaze of the African Sun. A true paradise!

At Africa Wild Surf Tours we’ve injected this love and passion for surfing and Africa into everything that we do. We want everyone who travels with us to experience what surfing in Africa is all about. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional, the African coast has something for you!

What we offer:

We provide a high quality, professional, cost-effective and hassle-free travel service to all surfers wishing to travel through Southern Africa.

We have spent a great deal of time scouting out various accommodation sites around the country and have carefully selected only those with clean and comfortable facilities, a pleasant and friendly vibe and a good proximity to the beaches with the best waves in the area.

We use reliable, air-conditioned vehicles to ensure a pleasant journey. Many of our tour routes take you through some of the most beautiful parts of the country, so you can be sure that the drive will be an experience in itself.

Our qualified surf guides (registered with Theta and DEAT) have spent many years exploring and surfing the coast of South Africa and Mozambique and are there to provide you with their knowledge and expertise so that you get to surf the spots with the best waves and not have to miss days of good surf just because the beach in front of you accommodation isn’t working.

We’ve combined all the aspects of safe and responsible surf travel and developed them into tour packages, which, we believe, will provide surfers from all over the world with the most complete and epic, African surf experience of a lifetime.
