Brian Graham was born and raised in Pietermaritzburg till the age of 10. He matriculated at Eshowe High School then went on to completed his military training, where he became a paratrooper.

He returned to Pietermaritzburg to study accounting and qualified as a Charted Accountant. This career path has lead him to all parts of South Africa, including spending 4.5 years in Botswana as the Financial Director of a large soda ash mine, situated on the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. He then returned to live in Wartburg with his family and having had previous experience in property development, bought the Acutts Pietermaritzburg Franchise.

What drew him to Acutts was the strong family heritage and the fact that Acutts has been operating for over 160 years. It is a multi-faceted national agency with over 70 branches throughout South Africa, offering a full range of real estate services. Acutts also has its own Mortgage Bond Originators which makes for quick and smooth bond application and its approval rate is one of the highest in South Africa.

Combined with the support of Acutts Head Office and Brian’s vast business experience, Acutts Pietermaritzburg is making inroads into the Pietermaritzburg property market.
