Acacia Tree Nursery School

Acacia Tree Nursery School is the only registered Waldorf school in the Eastern Cape. We provide a Waldorf pre-school education for over 20 socioeconomically disadvantaged children from two local townships.

The vision of our school is to create a wholesome, safe and integrated little school that is accessible to all.

Many families in our area that live under the poverty line and there are not enough quality preschools to serve the need of this fast growing population.

Acacia Tree follows the Waldorf curriculum - an integrative, artistic and imaginative way of teaching that successfully bridges language, social and economic gaps between children.

Our amazing staff are mentored and supported by Barbara Muller, a teacher par excellence with 30 years of Waldorf teaching experience.

Supporting children at our school strengthens the early childhood development these kids receive.
