44Coins

44 Coins was born in 2012 when I got the idea to make something that I could hold on to which would remind me of my military days in the South African Airborne.
I put my experience from the sign-writing industry and my love for design to use and the first airborne coin was created in 2013, which ended up becoming quite popular.
Since then, the hobby grew into a family business and to date we have made a big number of military and civilian coins, badges, pendants and pins for the international market.
In addition to the metal work, the glass sandblasting business grew and we are proud to also offer specialized glass sandblasting work to our clients.

COIN COMPOSITION
Most of the coins are metal composites such as Zinc Alloy.
Die casting and cast molding are the primary methods of production, but various methods are used to get the final product with the required detail and look.
Metal plating and soft enamel ensures any color and look can be achieved.

DESIGN
The heart of 44 Coins and Sandblasting lies with the designing, layout and setup of the required images/designs.
A range of software applications are used to complete the digital proofing prior to production and precision hardware is implemented in the production of the final product.

GLASS SANDBLASTING
The Glass Sandblasting can be done on any form of glass or metal.
Our primary focus is for special gifts and memorabilia with fine detail sandblasting on items such as wine bottles, wine glasses, drinking glasses and mirrors.

As with any end product, it all starts with an idea, a need, a want to have something beautiful.
