The mission of 20/20 Leadership is to educate and expose students to community issues, teach leadership skills and build community-wide relationships, all of which encourages success in life. Ultimately 20/20 Leadership creates a stronger work force and a more involved community.
All our Leadership 2020 programs are grounded in appreciative and strengths-based approaches and the belief that great leadership is: personal, practice-based, and participatory. Our programs enhance self-awareness, build knowledge and skills, invite curiosity and challenge, encourage application and risk-taking, and generate strong networks that cut across disciplines, roles, agencies and sub-sectors. Our generative curriculum approach engages participants as both co-learners and co-creators so that we are better able to respond to the emerging learning and practice needs of individuals and cohorts. There has never been a more inspired generation of young Africans. These builders, innovators and risk takers are fervent in their resolve to transform the continent. They are solving critical socio-economic problems, exporting African culture to the world, creating job opportunities for Africans, re-telling Africa’s stories, and writing the future
