What to expect!!

There is something about the magnificent 1906 craftsmanship at 1906 on Hill.

The beautiful solid oregan doors with pressed copper plate detailing and amazing architraves that welcome you into a little piece of history.

As step into the large guest lounge (which is available for all 1906 on Hill guest's) you relax, as you put your feet up and breathe. This is a space that will send you back to a time before there was internet, tv and smart devices, where people had conversations or picked up a book for entertainment, you relax next to the sounds of a crackling fire, the feeling of warmth and romance is what this home gives [especially whilst sipping on a really good wine].

Then it’s time to eat…
Dinners can be found at a few local treasures [speak to Emma and Terence about making a reservation for you].

After dinner, feel free to relax back in the lounge, or sitting next to the fire with a glass of wine before settling in for a really good nights sleep in one of our comfy rooms [with beds dressed with white linen].

Your complimentary breakfasts are served in our dining area, where you’ll spot the intricately crafted server, and another original fireplace to entertain you [if it's cold enough], with original Oregon floors, and high ceilings which help set the scene as you enjoy some delicious local produce we whipped up for you [and a nice cup of locally roasted coffee]!

Time to Play...
If you aren't making your way through, we hope you get a chance to explore the surrounding idigenous forests and country side [renowned for the fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and horse riding].

Or take a peek into a little bit of our history at the engine museum + Thomas River Historical Village.

You'll feel like you came back home when you wander through the garden - listening to the birds chirp in the massive trees, or take a stroll around the beautiful leafy garden that surround the house.
