Youth For Survival

Youth for Survival (YFS) is a Non-Profit Organization that was registered in 2007. Our aim is to address socio economic challenges faced by women, children and youth in underprivileged communities, through provision of developmental programmes and giving a holistic support to women and children who are victims of abuse. It operates from a head office in Gauteng, Pretoria and has a branch in the Eastern Cape Province, in Mount Frere, which was officially commissioned in 2010, under the Alfred Nzo Municipality.

Our services have 9 core programmes namely Skills Development Training, The Tshwane One Stop Safe House for Women and Children, Victim Empowerment, Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Campaign, Reintegration of Correctional Services Parolees, Scholar Support, Home Based Care for the Aged, Legal Awareness and Community Nutrition Development Centre. The organisation’s goal is to empower and heal victims of abuse, while also placing unemployed beneficiaries into learner-ships, employment and helping some to become self-employed.
