Founded by parents of children with Autism in 1998. Strives to include anyone on the Spectrum, family and friends, as well as professionals who believe in maximising potential in a respectful and mindful manner. This is an open platform advocating freedom of speech, in a courteous manner. No swearing or bullying allowed. Such posts will be removed. We reserve the right to remove any posts that we deem harmful to the autistic community. We encourage networking and dissemination of information, but we would like to confirm that information placed on our Facebook site does not mean we endorse the information placed . Additionally, the WAO is not an advocate of using the words, "Cure" "Recover" or "Heal" from Autism.
