Tecar therapy offers, in this field, a global method for the treatment of complex chronic pathologies where a primary cause is at the source of a number of secondary consequences such as pain, inflammation contractures, fibrosis etc. This treatment provides visible results from the first session (gain in amplitude, analgesic effect, revascularisation) and reactivates metabolic functions in the area in focus.

3 to 5 sessions are necessary before the patient and physiotherapist can observe reparation of the injured tissues. The patient regains his/her mobility and is able to take up a moderate physical activity without pain or stiffness.

After 5 relatively close sessions, a treatment every other month may be recommended.
Depending on the evolution of the pathology, the physiotherapist may set up a number of sessions in coordination with the patient’s doctor and his regular check-ups (assessments, reports, etc.).
