Our terrain and facilitators are of exceptional value. Activities that complement our programmes are our paint ball course, obstacle course, water/swimming holes, raft building, target shooting, team building, night marches, plant and animal identification, lectures on astronomy, horseback riding, special leadership, field guide and religious programs.

Welgelegen Camp is situated on a 250 hectare game farm 10km outside Uitenhage, 22km on the road to Cockscomb. A variety of game, bird and plant species occur in this typical valley bushveld area. Game drives are always part of the programme and provides a great adventure. A variety of game species can be found on our game farm, such as giraffe, eland, njala, zebra, springbuck, bushbuck, blesbuck, impala, kudu, bush pig, warthog and duiker.

Welgelegen Camp is the perfect place to take your school for a veld school camp, for an adventure or leadership camp. Sports camps and team building are also very popular. Special programmes that provide the ultimate outdoor adventure are provided by us, such as veld school camps, adventure camps, school holiday camps leadership camps, sport camps and team building and religious camps.
