Vukani

Vukani (meaning awakening in isiXhosa) is a self-catering establishment in Hogsback, Eastern Cape, South Africa . Hogsback is a small village in the Amathola Mountains located on the Amathola Mountain Escape Route.
Vukani iis located at 13 Summerton Drive, Hogsback.
It offers cabin accommodation within a fenced precinct.
Rates are as follows (minimum 2 nights):
1. Cabin: R400 per night (sleeps 2 people). Shower on suite.
Units have their own braai spot. Please bring your own firewood.
Vukani management promotes sustainable tourism by, for example, recycling waste and using grey water in the organic vegetable garden.

ATTRACTIONS
Hogsback is a nature-lover’s paradise. For birders, it boasts the Knysna Loerie and the Cape Parrot. Vukani is the ideal spot to base for adventure, abseiling, quad-biking, fishing, swimming, horseriding and walks through indigenous forests to waterfalls and historical sites.
Hogsback celebrates Winter with Christmas in July and in September, the community celebrates Spring with a Tree Festival.
