Tranquilitas Adventure Farm

Accommodation consists of four rustic chalets (R800 per night), six Perma-tents (R350) and spacious camping grounds Camping R70 per person/ night. The farm offers excellent rock climbing, miles of single track mountain biking and fantastic opportunities for hiker’s birdwatchers and astronomers.


The Chalets

Each of the rustic, self catering chalets can accommodate a maximum of four guests. An open plan kitchen & lounge area opens up onto a covered patio with braai facilities and outdoor furniture. Each chalet offers:
- A bedroom with a queen sized bed
- Two single beds in the dual purpose lounge area
- Open plan kitchen with microwave, mini stove and fridge
- Private bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet
- Laptop safe
- Braai area with firewood outside

Perma-tents
There are six tents, which can sleep four – There are either two single beds or a double bed in each tent in the zip up bedroom. There is space for extra mattresses. Each has a plug point & lights.
The ablution block, close by has hot showers, toilets and basins.

The Campsite

The campsite situated around the large pool and behind the chalets on a well kept lawn with several full grown shady trees. There are several fire pits and a public braai facility. This venue is ideal for camping and relaxing.

The campsite facilities include:
- a fire pit with firewood provided
- ablution facilities
- a pool for use by both chalet guests and campers
- bouldering / deep water soloing wall
- a covered entertainment area that overlooks the grounds, features an indoor fireplace, bar counter and undercover braai facilities.


Tranquilitas adventure farm is easily accessible from the major routes into Mpumalanga and most supplies can be bought at the local stores in Waterval Boven.
