Thyroid Labectomy Support Group

This Group is dedicated to anyone who has had problems with their thyroid. as a young women i felt that I did not have anyone to share my experience with and i felt it easier to connect with others who have had a similar experience. This page therefore is for anyone who would like support, information of what to expect, symptoms related to thyroid.

I am a 29 year old women who has recently had a full thyroid labectomy due it the right side of my thyroid gland being cancerous. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in 2008. by 2015 my thyroid had become overactive and i had lost at least 20kgs without a diet or any exercise. by 2016 i had gained 10kgs of the 20kgs i have lost.

the reason for this page is to be able to connect with others who have similar experiences. Information about Endocrinologists and Oncologists will be useful.
