The Look - South Africa

The Look - South Africa is a competition for aspiring female contestants that believe they have the passion and the look to become a model.

The competition aims to search the country of South Africa for the top photographic model and develop that individual to become a “Super Model”.

Contestants will have the opportunity to work with Internationally acclaimed Haute Couture designer Hendrik Vermeulen and his partner Jean Pierre Mentz Meyer. They both have extensive experience to share with the finalists.

Hendriks’ works of art have graced the runways of New York, Milan and Paris. Who knows….maybe the winner may one day walk the runway in Milan in one of his creations.

Fashion is a passion and this is what we will be looking for in each contestant.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
10 Contestants will be selected by the judges from each province, Gauteng has been split into two areas, North and South.

This will give us 10 girls x the 10 “Provinces” which will give us 100 girls. See the Voting page for further details on how the voting will work.

Each of the 10 finalists will have a photo-shoot done in their province by John Filmalter, these photos will then be displayed on the website and FB page for voting.

ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL AND MEALS
All accommodation and meals are provide for the top 10 finalists as well as the top 3 and winner in the finals.

Contestants will be responsible for their own transport to a central venue (to be notified) where they will be transported to the shooting venues at no further cost to themselves.
