Sunsets Sodwana Bay

Welcome to Sunsets, Sodwana Bay, a family owned and managed guest house.

We are nestled on a quiet hilltop in Zululand, a short 800m drive from the Sodwana main road. This means that once you get to us, you aren’t that far from the town, but close enough to nature so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. We would recommend a 4x4 vehicle, but if you have an adventurous 2x2 vehicle you should be able to make the journey. There is secure parking for all vehicles with remote control access.

The valley below the lodge teams with bird life and there are many Nguni cows which add to the 360⁰ views from the property.

We have two self-catering cottages:

The Red Cottage was designed with the setting sun in mind. From this cottage you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the verandah, or snuggle on the day couch in the room. Amenities include a king-sized bed, shower, corner bath, stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery crockery and pots and pans.

The Blue Cottage was designed with the ocean in mind. This room can cater for a couple or two people sharing. It has a shower, two-plate stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery and pots and pans.

Both cottages have air-cons and ceiling fans, linen and bath towels, and are serviced daily.

Sunsets Lodge got its name because of our beautiful deck from where you can watch the sunset. There is also a plunge pool which overlooks the rolling hills - what better way to end your day?

Next to the deck is a Braai (Gas or Wood) and fire pit which can be used by all guests.

Our rate is R300 per adult per night and kids pay half price (R150) per night.
