Stratosat Datacom (Pty) Ltd is a technology company that specializes in the supply of innovative satellite, wireless communication and astronomy products for the fast growing African Markets. The company is a member of the Schauenburg International Group headquartered in Germany and with more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide.

Stratosat Datacom's portfolio includes products from all major Satcom equipment manufacturers, which enables them to provide “Best of Class” service through their various distribution centers located around Sub-Saharan Africa. Stratosat West Africa Ltd is located in Nigeria, reaching from Lagos out to neighboring countries. Differentiating Stratosat Datacom from the rest of the market is its unique ability to offer their customer base complete “Transmit and Receive Chain” products together with installation and value added service offerings. Stratosat Datacom customers vary from GSM, to ISP and broadcasting companies. In 2012 the company was awarded the MeerKAT-contract by SKA South Africa, funded by the National Research Foundation, to design and build 64 13.5m telescopes.

Stratosat Datacom is situated in Johannesburg, South Africa, near Oliver Tambo International Airport. This enables their logistics department to handle all imports and exports effectively.

Stratosat Datacom also houses an engineering and repair department at this facility.
