This brand-new campsite was completed in May 2017 and offers guests a comfortable stop over halfway between Nieuwoudtville and Calvinia, as they make their way to Upington or the very popular Kgalgadi game reserve. Regardless of the size of your party, there is ample shade for all guests and cars. The ablution facilities are designed in such a way that each campsite has its own ablution block with private toilet and shower. Solar geysers ensure warm water and braai facilities and wood are available. Off the grid also implies no electricity points, just to mention.

This campsite is ideal for the guests that want to leave the hassle and bustle of the city behind, are aware of their environment and their impact on it, want to camp where it is safe without any concern for their own safety or that of their vehicles and want to experience the Karoo in its true form. Here guests can braai and sit around the campfire until the early hours of the morning without disturbing anyone!
