Brief Introduction - Skel Import & Export

In brief Skel Import & Export is a registered export business with all the necessary permits and licences as required by South African Law.

Our core business is that of Vat claims. Our model is simple and works as follows:

- Our claims are processed under the SARS E-filing systems ( VAT201’) and not the Vat administrators ( at most ports of exit) used by most people.
- Clients source and procure goods using our vat number and company details. All exports docs are processed under our company name as well.
- Once our client has all the necessary signed and stamped customs documentation we pay them 50% CASH of the Vat claimable on documentation provided.
- We then claim the Vat from SARS using the documentation.
- Lastly we are registered for SADC certificates and these can be used by clients as well to reduce their duties.

- Referral of clients for Vat claims
- Sourcing and Procuring of goods on our behalf

On a smaller scale we do source and procure goods for clients and also we have a trade facility that allows us to procure goods as well if there is a need for it.
