Shamwari was started by Martin Little in 1999 to cater for the ever increasing need by the major petroleum companies to have professional, specialized, industry specific sub-contractors.

Since its inception, Shamwari has been ever present in the petrochemical industry, supplying these specialized services to Caltex, Total, Excel, Sasol Oil, Sasol Chemicals and independent petroleum “white” sites.

During the years, Shamwari has evolved and diversified its products and services and prides itself on offering a Turnkey Solution to the Petroleum Industry.

With the addition of new management comes new skills, experience and expertise. The management profile of Shamwari is now strengthened to include an experienced project management team with over 20 years combined experience. Adding to this is Shamwari’s wholesale petroleum licence issued by the Department of Energy (DOE) allowing Shamwari to market and supply petroleum products.

So whether it’s pump and tank, electrical, diesel gensets, LED lighting, project management or the marketing and supply of petroleum products, Shamwari has the solution.

In 2015 Shamwari Projects was created to service the ever growing need for energy management and solutions in South Africa. A natural evolution from the electrical services established in the petroleum division, Shamwari Projects offers a turnkey approach to residential, commercial and industrial clientèle.
