Welcome to “Sanctuary Life” Guest Farm in Magaliesburg, only 1 hour from Johannesburg and situated 15 minutes from Magaliesburg town on the Koster Road. We offer 3 self-catering cottages on an equestrian farm together with horses, donkeys, sheep and ducks (ducks to be added shortly).

Cottages have lovely views of the beautiful Magaliesburg Mountain Range and the surrounding mountains, including an expansive view of and farmlands and grassland.

Our goal is to be self-sustainable & to provide comfortable accommodation in a quiet and peaceful setting for couples and families to come relax and unwind.

We are a horse friendly farm so bring your horses on holiday and enjoy our paddocks, arena, lunging arena and lovely outrides. A stable may be requested.

Activities include walking, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.
Accommodation

Cottages provide King size or single beds, linen, hairdryers and bath towels. The kitchens are fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, fridge and all crockery and cutlery. The patios have braai & poitjie facilities. We provide TV’s, DVD players but please bring you own DSTV decoder. Wi-Fi is available.

Cottage-3 “THE ROCK” is a two bed roomed cottage sleeping 6 people. Each bedroom has a king size bed or twin beds and 2 additional single beds in the lounge area. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a large undercover patio with a lovely view . This cottage is very private.

Cottage-2 “THE SHELTER” has an open plan bedroom, lounge and kitchen. It sleeps two adults on a King Size bed and 2 children on a sleeper couch in the lounge. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a patio that overlooks the farm.

Rates
Cottage-3 “THE ROCK”: R350 per adult per night with a minimum fee of R1400 for the cottage. Children under 12 years are half price and babies up to 1 year stay for free.

Cottage-2 “THE SHELTER”: R600 per night for the cottage.

Terms & Conditions
A minimum 2 night stay is required on weekends.
A minimum of 3 night stay is required over long weekends.
A minimum of 50% deposit is required to be paid by EFT within 48 hours of booking to secure.
Final settlement is to be paid 3 days prior to arrival by EFT.
Cancellation required 14 days prior to date of arrival or no-show guests forfeit the deposit.
No refunds for premature departure.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Day guests only allowed subject to prior arrangement with Sanctuary Life management.
No loud noise or loud music is permitted as we promote peace, quietness and tranquillity on the farm.
