Sakhulwazi Hub

We are a small organisation run by volunteers operating out of the township Philippi. We write to you today with the hope that we can share what we have produced with you, and the rest of cape town. Here at sakhulwazi we pride ourselves on being a sustainable organisation, making it possible for us to continue our work for future generations to come.
We are an organisation dedicated to helping develop our community and give the people who live here more independence. We currently operate multiple gardens producing a range of fresh veg and leafy greens! As well as this the team here are dedicated and also produce hand crafted goods using discarded materials, turning waste into something beautiful and practical.

At present we are producing a wide range of goods in our garden that we would love for you to enjoy. The items growing in our gardens currently include:
Spring onion, red & green peppers, beetroot, kale, spekboom, cabbage, rape seed, spinach, bush bean and lettuce.
We hope that we will be able to introduce our goods to your amazing organisation in the future, bringing in a variety of traditional and modern recipes for the people of cape town to taste!

as well as producing scrumptious food we would rather like for you to experience the great items that our volunteers create in the workshops. The list of items they create is growing everyday as we are always looking for new ways to be creative and innovative. At present the goods that we are creating are bags, aprons, shoes and beads.
