Founding Principles of SAcsi
SAcsi is governed by an independent, non-executive Board of Directors, and has an additional Board of Advisors of specialists from both academia and industry to provide guidance.
Sacsi is housed and at the Centre for Communication and Reputation Management (CCRM) at the University of Pretoria. Furthermore, the South African Quality Institute (SAQI) is one of the founding partners of SAcsi.
South Africa has been accepted into the ACSI Global License Partnership Program through the licensing of the ACSI methodology to SAcsi. By becoming an affiliate with the ACSI, SAcsi is able to benchmark internationally with any/all ACSI affiliate countries.
The license with the ACSI gives SAcsi the ACSI’s proven methodology that provides an index built on scientific and statistical calculation alone. Internationally recognised scientific experts provided the foundational methodology and experience for the South African Customer Satisfaction Index.
SAcsi’s Primary focus is on quality and methodological rigor and being governed through the carefully designed governance structure (in accordance to King III) will ensure that company results are believable and trustworthy. Media bias through paid advertising and commercial participation will never be allowed. The central focus of SAcsi is to earn the respect and acceptance of the all the major roleplayers in the national economy.
