Rooftop Salsa at 28 Auret Street (corners Jules and Fawcus) in Maboneng in Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city, is where scores of lithe dancers spend their Sunday afternoons swaying to the hypnotic rhythms of Afro-Latino tunes atop a building with a spectacular vista of the city skyline.
We play crossbody salsa, a bit of Cuban, and a healthy dose of bachata, Kizomba and merengue.
You don't need a partner. You don't need to know how to dance. If you have a good attitude and a passion for life, we take care of the rest. A lot of the experienced dancers happy to acclimate newbies.
Once a month, 3-7 pm. R50.00. Food and drinks available.
