Rietvlei Zoo Farm

Rietvlei Zoo Farm picnic areas are set in the most tranquil area of the farm surrounding our natural wetlands, where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. Bring your picnic basket, chairs, tables, umbrellas, picnic blankets and enjoy a day of fun in the outdoors! Watch the ducks waddle their way around or bring a soccer ball, set up a volley ball net or a cricket pitch and challenge your family to a game. You are welcome to bring your bicycles and explore our farm. Ride our fun mountain bike routes on the farm or just put on your walking shoes and join our fun walking trails. Detailed map is available from The Cycle Hub. Other activities include: 9-hole putt-putt course or Zak Tractor Cart Rides. For those that don't want to pack a picnic basket, you can have light meals at our tea garden or purchase takeaways from our tuck shop. Sit or picnic under the trees while you enjoy your meal. You can picnic or bring your own braai or hire from our farm office. Children can feed our farmyard animals by purchasing veggie packs, or visit our bird aviary and enjoy pony rides. You can have your Childrens Birthday Party, Corporate or Social Functions at Rietvlei Farm. We have various options to choose from: Camp Candy Kiddies party venue or the Butterfly or Bumble Bee Conference Hall or Hire one of TWELVE Party Lapas in the picnic area. Enquire at our farm office. If you love gardening, you will enjoy our Nursery that is filled with various plants, trees, flowers and garden utensils and accessories.
