Resthaven Guesthouse, situated in Matatiele, set against the majestic backdrop of the Drakensburg, we are the perfect base from which explore the Southern Drakensberg and Lesotho, with 3 border posts, 2 of which are spectacular 4x4 passes. Excellent fishing for Trout, Bass and Carp. There are also plenty of 4x4 and Adventure Bike Tracks in the area.

22 spacious and comfortable rooms with en-suite bathroom, DSTV, Tea and Coffee Stations and Air-conditioning. Home cooked buffet dinners and full breakfasts.

We are situated on the R56, which is an alternative route from Durban to Cape Town. We have a lovely CoffeeShop set in beautiful garden where you can enjoy a selection of good coffees, cakes and light lunches while the kids keep themselves entertained on our playground. We are conveniently situated on the Main Road for travellers to have a quick stop and hot cup of coffee.
