PunchLINE Entertainment started out as a record shop in november 2007 in Greendale, Harare. Zimbabwe

In 2010 it was moved to Msasa, Harare where PunchLINE Entertainment has since set up offices.

The label was started with a Riddim called Charge Office by a producer called Kritical.

By 2009 what started out as a record shop was now a growing record label. The first album released on this label was Freeman "Tapinda Mustayera" which featured the hit single “Joina City” and Unondipa Rudo respectively.

Two of the first top Zimdancehall act to work with this label were Freeman and Lady Squanda.

PunchLINE Entertainment has and continue to work with artists such as Tocky Vibes, Seh Calaz, Soul Jah Love, AfricanChild, Terminator, Ninja Kid, Ricky Fire, Badman, Shinsoman, Lady Bee, Millitary SK, Micky D, Spartan X, Benji T, Ministar, Jah Designer among many others.

This label is one of Zimdancehall and reggaes music top distributor.

As always it keeps its eyes firmly on the future and look forward to introducing the world's next generation of artists and
producers

In May 2015 the Record shop/Label celebrated its 5th anniversary.
