Formerly trading as Centre Piece cc, Printbrush was recently taken over and re-launched by Greg Ewing. A former photo editor at Zigzag Surfing Magazine, Greg has over the years honed his skills, not just in photography but also spending countless hours on the print press, correcting the print colour of Zigzag magazine. The progression from taking photos to printing photos thus came naturally for Greg, and his passion for beautiful imagery and keen eye for detail translate into every picture printed.

Greg specializes in giclée printing which is defined simply as high end inkjet printing on wide format printers using pigmented inks and archival papers. Giclée prints can be made on any of a number of substrates from canvases or watercolor papers to photographic papers and banner materials. Each individual print is retouched in photoshop and color-corrected for the best possible outcome. Greg’s canvas giclées are varnished to protect them from UV or water damage. What makes giclée printing different from big box discount stores or self-printing?
