Phone Locator by 3DT Group of Companies is a MGSP (Multiple Global Service Provider) cloud based platform that enables Parents, Caregivers and Companies to automatically monitor the location of their loved-ones or employees. You now do not need to be concerned where your loved ones or employees are. Even if you are away travelling locally or internationally, you will always be informed of their location.

Perfect For
• The Parent who want to know where their children are during certain times of the day/evening and/or weekend.

• Caregiver looking after the elderly and/or challenged individual.
• Companies wanting to ensure field staff are where they are supposed to be during working hours (staff approval must be given).

Typical Scenario
Assuming the average parent with x1 child wants to make sure their child makes it home after school. That would equate to:
• x1 location per day x5 days = 5-Locations per week
• x4-weeks in a month = average of 20 Locations per month.

Then if the parent wanted to check up on their child say on Saturday nights twice a night:
• 2-Locations x4-Saturday nights per month = 8-Locations per month.

So the average parent with one child using this scenario would only have to pay ZAR99 per month (less any discount).

Common Questions
Is this legal?
• Yes – So long as the account holder is either the owner of the phones in their list of approved phones, and/or has permission from the owner of the phone.
• Strict validation and confirmation of each phone added to the Account Holders account is required and logged.
• Account Holders have to agree to the EUC & Indemnification Agreement and Terms and Conditions (which includes Privacy) Agreement when ordering and each time they log into the system.

How does Phone Locator make certain that the account holder has approval to locate their loved ones phone?
• When the Phone Locator Account Holder adds a new phone to their phone list,
o a unique code is sent via SMS to that phone.
o The Phone Locator Account Holder must then enter in that unique code against that phone number. Unless it matches exactly, that number will not be approved and thus not able to be located.

What happens if the loved one changes their number?
• The Phone Locator Account Holder will need to re-validate that number.

What happens if the phone is stolen and the SIM Card is changed?
• In a near coming revision, even if the SIM Card is changed you will still be able to locate the phone.

What security is there?
• The platform runs on fully redundant (N+1), climate controlled data centre. There are four Tier 1 ISP providers at all times – that means even if something catastrophic happened (think major natural disaster), we would have multiple backups to keep your data flowing. The data centre is behind a secure SSL Certificate, with military grade firewalls, and are managed 24/7 with a 5 9's uptime.
• Each Account Holder User has a unique login username and password.
• Each time an Account Holder User logs into the platform:
o Unless nothing is done for 10-minutes, the system times out.
o All user activity is logged.

• All unusual account activity is reported to the Account Holder for validation/verification,
• Account Holders can view all user account activity at any time.
• All passwords and locations are encrypted.

Is my information shared with any companies or government agencies?
• No – 3DT complies with all privacy acts worldwide.
• The only time any information is shared, is at the request and control of the Account Holder with Key Qualified Tactical Emergency Services generally in a missing persons scenario.

What if I want to just be notified of my child’s location on Saturday nights say between 7pm and midnight?
• Yes you can by either:
o setting up a campaign to run on weekends between those hours, or
o you can do it manually.

Can I Locate a number that is not in my phone list?
• No - Only the approved numbers can be located.

Who has access to phone list locations?
• Only that phone Locator Account Holder.

Can I add another person to use my account, say my spouse?
• Yes - You can add as many administrators as you like. However each administrator must accept the Phone Locator End User Certificate & Indemnification Agreement and Terms & Conditions, the same as you.

How do I know how many Location Credits I have left?
• Once a week you will get an Account Status Email.
• You can view your current Account Status at any time inside your portal.
• Each time you create a Manual Location query, you will be informed of:
o your current account status,
o how many Location credits either that Manual Location query or Automated Location Campaign will consume.
• If your account runs out of Location Credits you will receive an SMS and an Email.

Heavens for bid my child goes missing and has possibly been abducted, how does Phone Locator help?
• Specialized teams, Key Qualified Tactical Emergency Services, have been contacted who are extremely familiar with such conditions and circumstances, and who are very well versed on Phone Locator. These teams are made available to you in such an event, at which point you can select the team of your choice, they will be immediately notified. You can also allow them only access to the history of your loved ones location history and profile (if setup), giving them an immediate head start in locating and returning your loved one to you.

How long has Phone Locator being running for?
