Phil Page was born and raised in Zimbabwe where his love for the bush, his creative flair and his extensive knowledge of indigenous flora and fauna led him to landscaping. He broke away from traditional garden design and has become well known for his ability to successfully reintroduce indigenous plants into domestic gardens.
Since 1982 Phil has been transforming exotic deserts into flourishing indigenous sanctuaries for a wealth of birds, insects and mammals. His ability to seamlessly fuse natural with suburban habitats has earned him respect in the industry and he is well known for his creative rock work. Phil’s fire pits, bomas, custom built enviro pools, water features, ponds, pans, dams and exposed aggregate pathways and pool surrounds are widely sought after.
Phil’s ability to capture Africa’s natural beauty in his creations can be seen in many gardens in and around the greater Durban area, as well as in Zimbabwe and Mauritius. His projects include:
