National interlligents network

NIN is an acronym for national intelligence network .t is national given that it operates throughout south Africa and it is intelligence work of studying data and predicting possible crime before they are even committed . where crime has already been committed , NIN sub -contracted companies will ensure investigation are conducted

when the investigation has been conducted , the follows a question as to whether such investigations should be conducted solely to reveal the truth or if the intention is to take the matter to court either for the perpetrator to be punished or for restorative justice , i.e allowing perpetrator to pay his/her action to restore the actual state of affairs as was case before the crime was commuted.

the actual investigations are carried out by private security companies. The companies have a working partnership with nin. A criterion is set to sieve companies that may not render investigation with nin. The companies doing investigation have to satisfy the requirements to do investigation as set out by the security industry regulatory authority
