MindBurst Workshop

MindBurst Workshop designs and facilitates critical thinking skills training. Working together with Colin Northmore, the head of Sacred Heart college and the Independent Examination Board (IEB) they have developed approaches to critical thinking (sometimes referred to as Higher Order Thinking) with a homegrown flavour. The integration of critical thinking into teaching practice and school culture is a global trend, and MindBurst’s work is informed by best practices internationally.

MindBurst has piloted material, lessons and project based learning workshops at Sacred Heart College. Through word of mouth they have started working with other schools. In an attempt to share their insights with teachers, wherever they are, MindBurst has decided to make all of its materials available online for free.

MindBurst offers teacher training, learner workshops and corporate talks on the topics of: Critical thinking, creative thinking, project based learning, diversity literacy, how to maintain productive dialogue and the public engagement of science.
