Medstep Clinic

Medstep Clinic is licensed as a sub-acute physical rehabilitation facility.

Medstep clinic accommodates a whole range of patients, from those whome require sub-acute high care due to strokes, motor-neuron diseases, post-cardio, orthopaedic or other surgery and to those who have had difiiculty with healing wounds or have complex medication regimens and co-morbidities.

Medstep is also a step-down nursing facility.

Medstep has a Multi-disciplinary Team approach centred on patient outcomes that contribute to a successful discharge and the best possible chance of a stable life in the community.

The team consists of a Medical Doctor (24 hours on call), a Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Dietician and Social Worker.

Medstep Clinic offers a full range of sub-acute physical rehabilitation services within a wide patient spectrum.

We understand that each patient has unique needs.

We offer HIV Care and Counselling; Rehabilitation after injury; fall; stroke; accident or post operative rehabilitation and Pre-operative build-up,

We are well equipped and staffed to care for long term ventilated patients, as well as patients with tracheostomies. We facilitate patients who require isolation, and we are licensed accordingly.
