Entertainment and arts developments are the focal interest of our services. We are inspired to organise and facilitate cultural events and workshops for the youth and adult of the rural communities. As part of development we raise potential fans of the live entertainment and community mass participant for training of performing arts. We believe arts can increase community participation, activity society also develop skills and set opportunity employment.

Background

Matatiele Arts is an initiative that was established in 2012, by Mothibedi Martin Matsupa as an event organising initiative with national exposure to bring across the entertainment experience to the community of Eastern Cape Province. Matatiele Arts is a vision of a single sole that had the heart of giving back to his community Matatiele after he had worked up his experience and networking within Gauteng, East London, Cape Town Province, etc.
Meddle 2013, Matatiele Arts and shade it vision of developing Eastern Cape with Ikhono Creative which is a national organisation focusing on arts development for underserved community as aim to bring development in rural settlement in partnership with local municipality, and any other relevant community stakeholders and.
Ikhono Creative is a today an umbrella board of Matatiele Arts with mission to development Matatiele community in areas of performing arts disciplines.

Encourage practical arts learning experience and sustainable participation of the youth of Matatiele leading to the benefit of the rest of Eastern Cape Province.

Mission

To be a leading competent partner between community and the government spheres at purposes of collaborative effort for developing creative youths of the Eastern Cape Province. We will continuously commit organise memorable entertainment events and while developing new audiences for the arts in Matatiele.

Objective

Enabling arts spared to the youths of greater society of Matatiele with an equivalent training programme to benefit the youth through Skills Development at the same time set out arts employment opportunity within and outside the Province.
