Established in 1994, captures the essence of the Italian lifestyle –colourful and flavour-filled. Luca Borella, the prolific hands-on owner, honours centuries old traditions essential to authentic Italian cuisine - simplicity and passion (and... don't forget anything Mamma taught you!!!).

Tuscan influences are evident with classic fresh pasta, seafood, meat dishes and exotic delicacies on offer to tantalize your palate! Food is freshly prepared to order and, as far as possible, homemade. The extensive menu goes hand-in-hand with a collection of carefully selected fine South African and Italian wines ( over 200 to choose from!) gathered specifically to complement any choice of meal. A grand wood-burning oven delivers pizzas that delight the gods (the calzone is to die for!) and slow-food specialities, including rabbit casserole served with polenta and lamb pot-roasted in coffee and apricots, will have you coming back for more. Luca's promises you the ultimate Italian experience!

Luca's can cater for your home or office parties either at the restaurant premises which seats about 200 people or entire meals can be prepared for collection! Winter months are made cosy with gas heaters and in the summer you can enjoy warm afternoon lunches and evening dinners outside under magnificent London Plane trees. Live soft jazz adds superb value to every Sunday evening!
