Lephalale july

This annual event will provide the finest of South African local music, paying special attention to jazz and local traditional performances during the day. All other music genre will be performed throughout the night from six in the evening until six in the morning the following day. This event must continue to leave a remarkable impression on every one who attends year after year. As an important part of the Festival, Lephalale July will also have an extensive education and outreach programme that takes same of the top musicians (celebrities) and top young SA Entrepreneurship into schools across the area to inspire and motivate the youth.

1. The festival will feature an awards program, musical performances, cultural dances, African foods, arts & culture vendors, children’s games, fashion show, sports and a career fair.

2. The festival will kickstart on Friday the 8th of July 2016 by hosting an awards program called “Lephalale July Honors,” which will recognizes the achievements of government departments, corporate companies, individuals and NGO’s organisations that have tirelessly worked to uplifting the lives of the community. The Lephalale July 2016 arts, culture & fashion family festival will be on the 9th of July 2016 at the Marapong Stadium in Lephalale. The festival venue at Marapong Stadium regularly attracts a widespread local, regional and socio-economic mix of people.

3. On Sunday we will have a 5 km fun walk, 10 km Marathon and 20km cycle challenge. The funds raised from these activities will become part of the prize money that will be awarded to the winning non-profit organisation. The 3-day festival is expected to welcome more than 10,000 attendees
