KwaZulu Regional Christian Council

Our vision is to help churches to unite against poverty, injustice, disease and ignorance in the Northern part if the province.

KRCC serves three districts in the KwaZulu region of the province :uThungulu, uMkhanyakude and Zululand.

Through the focus areas of work below, KRCC aims to reduce the vulnerability of the marginalised groups.

1.Self Help Groups
Is an economic development model mainly for woman to generate income to support their families.

2.Social cohesion
Building cohesion in diverse communities.

3.Religion, Citizenship and Governance
Maximizing church participation in good governance and promotion of human rights.

4.Healing of Memories
Healing past and present wounds to help people move forward with their lives.

5.Enviromental Justice
Learning how to protect our fragile environment and reduce the risk of disasters especially in vulnerable communities.

6.Gender Justice
Working with women and men (separately and together) to promote gender justice for all.
