The story of Krost began half a century ago, and while Jonathan and Uri Krost might not have foreseen just how much their humble business would grow, they certainly knew that it would be special.

The team at Krost has grown to more than 150 people over the past five decades, and the determination of the individuals who work hard to create storage solutions is unrivalled in the shelving and racking industry. It’s this passion for creating spaces that makes us different from any other business in our trade.

We’re not just about manufacturing and installing storage solutions; when everyone else has given up, we’ll find a way to create space. We take pride in each and every shelf, rack, mezzanine floor and locker that we manufacture, and it only leaves the factory if it’s got our stamp of approval. We take our manufacturing standards exceptionally seriously, which is why we were awarded the ISO 9001-2000 certification for our excellent quality products, both in terms of their design and their production. Similarly, we were one of the first racking companies in South Africa to be awarded a South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) mark for our quality excellence.

Furthermore, we don’t believe in limiting our business; after all, we’ve made a living out of opening up spaces for others, so we’ve done the same for ourselves. That’s why we service countries all over Africa, as far afield as Ghana. Outside of South Africa we also deliver to Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, and Mozambique.

In addition, we also offer our clients a special service that comes standard with all of our quotes. Once we have visited your premises, we will go back to the drawing board and make up 3D renderings of what you require. In this way, you’ll be able to see exactly how your space will look before you’ve purchased the shelving, racking, mezzanine floors, or lockers that you need.
