Koornlands Riding School

Hidden in the heart of the picturesque Hermitage valley, tucked between Red Roan Ranch and the ever popular Wildebraam Liquors, we find the vibrant Koornlands Riding School. What was previously a fine vegetable garden, then berry fields, is now lush grazing and fine training arena’s for horse and rider.

Proprietor and head coach is Dee Hazell. Dee has ridden since the beginning of memory, she is a registered veterinary nurse,as well as an inspector for the SPCA She is passionate about all animals with a special empathy for horses. All the horses in the riding school are from the local district. The majority have been backed, trained or rehabilitated at the school.
