Kafe Serefé was opened in 2005 by Carolien van Rensburg as a Turkish Coffee Shop. Due to popular demand it soon expanded into a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Although Turkish elements are still present in the foods and ambience, the emphasis moved to serving outstanding South African cuisine at the most affordable prices.
Helgé van Rensburg took over the running of Kafe Serefé in 2010 and has established herself as the 3rd generation of the van Rensburg family joining the business.
