Jan Hoppie Self Catering

Jan Hoppie, situated in Bonnievale, is a rustic yet comfortable and romantic old fashioned farm cottage in a peaceful setting overlooking the Breede River Valley. Named after a labourer who arrived out of the blue and became a local legend, Jan Hoppie is a simple farm cottage appointed above vineyards and exuding local character.

The cottage is peppered with interesting artefacts, like an original cobbler's table for the braai goodies, old paraffin lamps, farm tools, Victorian taps and bath and a stable door for front door. The pleasant beskuit-en-koffie front stoep yields picturesque views across the valley, the river (about 950m away), and the mountains beyond.
