Izandla ZeAfrika

The vision of Izandla ZeAfrika is to see the love and gospel of Jesus Christ shared and lives transformed by the Holy Spirit throughout all of Africa.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth." 1 John 3:18

In order to realise Izandla's mission and ultimately the vision, the following operational objectives exist:

To support local Christian community projects on a spiritual, practical and financial level;

To spread the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in neighbouring African countries by means of short-term medical and non-medical mission trips;

To support fellow Christian workers in the mission field by means of encouraging visits, spiritual input and finances as needed;

To support local Christian leaders and upcoming leaders by means of accountability partnerships;

To encourage Christian believers to develop their God-given talents and spiritual gifts and allow faith to go over into action by exposing them to mission fields locally and abroad.

As a organisation we strongly believe that all actions should be birthed out of the Spirit of God and not directed merely by the needs here on earth. We believe that God wants to use each and every believer as a fellow worker for Christ and that faith should lead to action.

"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." James 2:26

Currently Izandla ZeAfrika supports and help manage two crèches, runs a youth empowerment programme, supports a local church and their lead elder, and is starting up the outreach leg of the organisation which will send medical as well as non-medical mission teams into neighbouring rural African communities.

All of this is done with the primary focus of spreading the love and gospel of Christ and all Izandla staff and helpers are volunteers.
