Inkaroo Jewellery

Located next door to Clarke of the Karoo restaurant on the world-renowned Route 62 you will find the sparkling gem that is Heather Brownlow's jewellery design studio called Inkaroo. As you enter the sweetly scented, calm well lit space Heather sits at her workbench creating her latest designs. Soft music from Cafe Del Mar plays in the background and a mosaic mirror fish twists in the sunlight. Everywhere holds delight as sea bleached driftwood and old bones display an exciting array of necklaces, bracelets, brooches and earrings.
Heather uses a mixture of semi-precious stones, seeds, beads and some surprising natural materials to form each unique piece: crystals and coral,shells and freshwater pearls, marble and lava, tiny glass beads woven through porcupine quills and Acacia thorns all vie for your attention. Once you have discovered Heather's Passion you will want to return time and time again to this hidden treasure of the Klein Karoo.
