When your horse needs some R&R, we understand that every aspect of your horse’s care must be approached with meticulous attention to detail. Our Philosophy can be summed up as 'Nature with plenty of Nurture'.

Unlike a typical livery yard or stables, we aim to provide an elite Equine Retreat on par with the standards the horse’s Owner would want from a luxury rural Retreat for themselves. It is essential that our equine guests have constant supervision, plenty of quality grazing, spacious stabling if required, a safe and calm environment, fresh water and great food as well as space to relax. Specific veterinary care or rehabilitation therapy is always available.

We specialise in the care of horses that need or are used to a lot of personalised care and attention. So whether they are just resting from work, need some rehabilitation, are in foal, growing up or looking for an idyllic retirement retreat, we can provide them with everything they need and you would want for them.

The Hemel en Aarde Farm has a beautiful purpose built state of the art Stable Barn and facilities, large, safe paddocks with plentiful and varied grazing, all with sweeping views offering an enormous sense of freedom. Plus our closeness to the sea reduces summer heat and moderates winter temperatures.
